The new agreement strengthens the historic relationship between the two companies to deliver ever more accurate and innovative solutions to people suffering from learning and reading disabilities, at a worldwide level, based on a long term strategic cooperation.
Acapela’s
voices already speech enable ScanDis’ software suite, designed to
support people with learning disabilities including dyslexia.
Founded
in 1991, ScanDis is a leading accessibility software developer and
solutions supplier based in Denmark. ScanDis’ partnership with Acapela
started in 1998 when ScanDis decided to integrate Acapela’s market
leading high quality text-to-speech in all its applications.

to give immediate speech feedback. With the market leading high quality
human sounding voices from Acapela Group the users of ScanDis’ software
can work more autonomously on Microsoft Windows getting speech feedback
whenever needed.
